About Us

Our Story & Mission

Discover the heart behind Raising Student Athletes — a faith-driven movement to support families in every season of the athletic journey.

My Why

The Story Behind RSA

Raising Student Athletes was born from a deeply personal journey — navigating the complex world of youth sports while trying to keep faith and family at the center.

As a parent of student-athletes, I experienced firsthand the challenges: the pressure, the uncertainty about scholarships, the struggle to balance athletics with academics and faith. I realized there had to be a better way — a community where families could find guidance, encouragement, and prayer.

RSA exists to fill that gap. We're building a global community of families who believe that faith and sports can go hand in hand — and that every student-athlete is destined for greatness, on and off the field.

Faith and athletics

Mission

To encourage, educate, and empower student-athletes and their families through biblical principles, practical guidance, prayer, and community support.

Vision

To build a global faith-centered community where student-athletes and their families thrive spiritually, academically, athletically, and purposefully.

The Four Pillars

What We Stand On

Faith

Our Foundation

We trust God's plan for every student-athlete. Our faith is the cornerstone of everything we do — from daily prayers to life-changing decisions.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding."

— Proverbs 3:5-6

Family

Our Strength

We believe stronger families produce stronger athletes. We equip parents with the tools, wisdom, and community they need to support their children through every season.

"Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord."

— Ephesians 6:4

Athletics

Our Discipline

Sports teach discipline, resilience, and teamwork. We help student-athletes harness these lessons to grow not just as competitors, but as leaders of character.

"Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it."

— 1 Corinthians 9:24-27

Purpose

Our Destination

Every athlete has a purpose beyond the game. We guide families to discover God's unique calling — preparing for life, leadership, and legacy beyond sports.

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."

— Jeremiah 29:11
